It depends on the size of your school, how many staff you have, and how many pupils and parents you'd want included in the pupil and parent voice surveys. Book a call with us and we can discuss your requirements.
The only data we ask for from the school is email addresses, so we can send each teacher, pupil and parent their assessment link. We don't ask for pupil records or any other personal data. Individual teacher responses are stored securely so each teacher can receive their own private report, but they're never shared with anyone else in the school.
During onboarding we'll ask to see your school's data and GDPR policies, and we'll walk you through our own compliance so that everyone has the reassurance they need before we begin.
Mind Sync isn't a diagnostic tool and it isn't clinical. It looks at how staff read and respond to behaviour in the classroom, and how pupils and parents experience the school. It's a snapshot of understanding and practice, not a medical assessment.
Mind Sync was created by Alexander Church, a business psychologist, psychological therapist and neurodiversity coach. The framework has been shaped by peer-reviewed research on inclusive classroom practice, published UK government data on SEND provision, and the current Ofsted Inclusion evaluation area.

Yes. We're currently developing a parent facing assessment, and a pupil facing tool called The Other Side, designed to give pupils a way to reflect on how school feels for them. Both are in build and we'll share more when they're ready.
Around 15 to 20 minutes for teaching staff, and about 10 minutes for pupils and parents.
Each teacher receives their individual report with recommended training modules ready to go, and the school's Whole School Report comes with an action plan already prioritised. From that point the school can implement the recommendations. We are available to offer further support as and when is required via consultancy.
This is the most common question we get. The most effective way to get every member of staff on board is to protect some time on a teacher training day for the assessment to be completed.
A standard SEND audit looks at what your school has in place: policies, provision maps, EHCPs, that kind of thing. Mind Sync looks at what actually happens in the classroom. It gathers what staff know and do, how pupils experience the school, and what parents see from home, then brings those three views together into one honest picture. The two approaches complement each other. Most schools we work with do both.
